Math Test and Halloween Recipes

We are finishing up our second math unit on Adding and Subtracting 2-digit numbers without regrouping. The students have learned strategies that will help them count a large number of objects. We will be finishing our unit with a Math Test on Tuesday, October 29.

In French this week, we have been reading the story, Un chef monstre. The students have learned many new vocabulary words while reading this book. As an accompanying task to the story, the students have been learning about Procedural Writing, and how to write a recipe. Each student will create their own Halloween Recipes.
