Animal Projects

We have finished our animal unit in Science. The students are now able to tell the characteristics of specific types of animals. We learned how animals protect themselves in the wild. They know what type of food some animals eat. We even learned the life cycles of amphibians and butterflies. It was very interesting. The children will be ending this unit with a research project of an animals of there choice. The students have been given an outline to assist them in the completion of the project.
Please see the details below:

Animal Project

The students will be choosing an animal to research. They can choose any animal they wish. In their project, they will need to talk about the animal’s appearance, their habitat, what they eat, and how they protect themselves against the weather and other animals. They also need to classify which type of animal they have chosen (mammal, reptile, etc…). This project needs to be done in French.

The project will be due: Tuesday February 16. If you are able, please do some research on the computer at home, and bring information to school. The project will be worked on in class and at home. The students will be presenting the projects to the class.

The animal I have chosen is:_____________________________
