Christmas Baskets
The theme for our Christmas Basket this year is: Holiday Basket. I went to seek some clarification, and was told that our basket could include anything that is festive, or items that could be used during the holiday season. Ideas could include: Christmas decorations, games or activities you might do during the holiday season. Perhaps Christmas movies or snacks.

Telling Time
Today we were looking at an analogue clock, and learning to tell tell. We looked at the different hands on a clock, and discussed what they show. We also looked at the big numbers on a clock, and how they show 5 minutes. Maybe we could practice telling time at home. They also learned how to write time.

Time can be a difficult concept for students to grasp. Practice telling time on an analogue clock, whenever possible will help them tremendously this unit.

New Math Unit
We began our new Math Unit today. The focus of this unit is measurement. Today we were taking a look at how long a minute actually is. We did some little experiments in class. They wrote their names, drew house, drew flowers, and sang the alphabet. They will be responsible of doing some similar experiments at home this weekend for homework.
