Happy Summer Vacation!!

Red and White Day

To celebrate Canada's birthday, we are having a red, and white day. Students are encouraged to wear their Canada Day gear,

                                       

Fun Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow we will be having a fun day, that will be involving water. It is suggested that the students wear bathing suit material clothing tomorrow. Sunscreen is also recommended as it will be 30 degrees C.

Report Cards

The Report Cards will be going home today. Please sign the bottom portion of the report card, and return it to the school.

Also, you may want to send your student to school with some sunscreen, because we will be outside for a couple of hours.

Field Trip and Picnic Tomorrow

The grade 2/3H and 3M classes will be going on their field trip to the bowling alley tomorrow morning. When we return, we will be having a picnic in the park in the afternoon. The students were told to bring a blanket to eat on. It was suggested to talk to friends, and possibly share with a friend.  The students can also bring outdoor games or toys to play with at the park.

Mass

Tomorrow we will be celebrating our year end Mass. The Mass will be held in the gym at 2:00. If you are able to attend, we would be happy to have you!

Pyjama Day Tomorrow

St. Andre students raised over $8000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Congrations Astros!!! To celebrate this incredible accomplishment, tomorrow is PYJAMA Day!!!

Photos of Dad

We will be starting our Father's Day gift tomorrow. Please ensure that the students have a photo of their dad by tomorrow.

Fully Alive

We will be beginning Theme 3: Created Sexual: Male and Female, tomorrow. Discussion about what we learn in class is encouraged between the students and their parents.

Field Trip Permission Forms & Photos of Dad

The grade 2/3 students will be participating in their final Field trip on Wednesday, June 19th. We will be going bowling for 2 hours, and coming back to the school for lunch. We will be spending the afternoon at the park, for a picnic and also play time. If you are interested in Coming, please fill out the bottom of the letter, and submit it to the school. The trip can be paid on-line or to the teacher, in cash.

Just a reminder, all students are asked to bring in a photo of their dad by Wednesday, June 12.

Photos of dad

We are going to be doing a special gift for Father's Day. In order to do the activity, the students will need to bring a picture of the dad to school. Please bring them in as soon as possible. They will need to be here by Wednesday at the latest. Thank you!!

Grade 3- Oral Communication Assignment

The grade 3 students were given an oral communication assignment yesterday. They will talk about their favourite thing in front of the class for 2 minutes. They began this assignment yesterday, by writing really good paragraphs. They then practiced reading it, using expression in their voices. They will present their favourite things tomorrow.
