Animal Projects

Animal Project

The students will be choosing an animal to research. They can choose any animal they wish. In their project, they will need to tell us about the animal’s appearance, their habitat, what they eat, and how they protect themselves against the weather and other animals. They also need to classify which type of animal they have chosen (mammal, reptile, etc…). This project needs to be done in French.

The project will be due: January 17, 2017. If you are able, please do some research on the computer at home, and bring information to school. The project will be worked on in class and at home. The students will be presenting their projects to the class.

The students can present the information anyway they want. In the past, students have made a bristol board, or simple present it in a duo-tang. I look forward to seeing the finished products.

Christmas Performance

Thank you to those who were able to come last night for our mini Christmas concert. The students sang beautifully!

We have entered the third week of Advent. Today we are celebrating Advent with a mass in the gym. It is always nice to be able to celebrate as a school community with Father Greg. Tomorrow, the students have an opportunity to reflect on Jesus' sacrifices while we participate in the Adoration of the Eucharist. Friday, we will be celebrating the Christmas season with a pasta lunch, provided by parent council.
