Splash Pad

We had a wonderful day at the Splash Pad this morning. Thank you to all of the parent volunteers that came to help supervise!

Smart-Fit-a-Thon

Tomorrow is our Smart-Fit-a-Thon. I have written the groups that your child will be in tomorrow. Please try to dress them in that colour. They students are also asked to bring in their favourite book to school to read during Partner Reading time with M. Bouchard's grade 5 glass.

Cereal

We are collecting cereal for those in need in our community. The class that collects the most cereal by Friday will receive a pizza party. If you are able to donate, It would be greatly appreciated.



**REMINDER**  Car projects are due tomorrow, Thursday, June 16, 2016.

Upcoming Events

We have a busy week ahead of us. Money for Pita Pit is due Monday, June 13, as pita day is on the fifteenth. Monday is also the last day to donate to the Penny Drive. There will be a Penny Drive assembly in the gym at 10:30 on Wednesday, June 15. We will be having our Smart Fit-A-Thon on Thursday June 16. The car assignments are also due this day. Instructions for the assignment are in the agendas or on the blog.

On Monday, June 2oth, the primary students will be going to Lakeshore Cinema to watch "Kung Fu Panda" in French. The permission forms and money are  due on Thursday, June 16. Popcorn and a beverage is included in the price of the field trip.

Science- Car Assignment

Car Assignment

We are completing our unit about machinery. We have been learning about simple machines and how they work. We have also discussed how they make our lives easier. We have one final assignment for this unit. The children will be required to build a car that can roll. They can use whichever materials they want. They will make a brief presentation to the class, and show that it does indeed roll. They will be working on this assignment at home.
