This month we are collecting school snacks for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The snacks are donated to families in our community. If you are able to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. We will be collecting these items until January 29, 2016.

Field Trip on Wednesday

Just a reminder that we will be going to Safety Village Wednesday afternoon. It is important to note that a portion of the day will be spent outside in the miniature town. Please consult the weather forecast for Wednesday afternoon, and dress your child appropriately.



We recently finished our measurement Math unit. We have begun our new unit focusing on Geometry. The children will be learning about 3-D shapes. They will learn their names, and the attributes that they share.

Welcome Back!

I hope that everyone had a nice, restful break. It was nice seeing everyone again this morning. We are continuing our study on animals in Science. The students will learn the different classifications of animals , and the characteristics of each. Today we began talking about mammals (les mammifères) and reptiles (les reptiles). We are coming to the end of our data management unit. The students really enjoy conducting surveys. They were able to conduct surveys in the school today.

Just a reminder that Harvest Fresh will begin again this Thursday.
