We will be having an “étude de milieu” test on Friday. We have been studying the different regions of the world. To be successful on this test, your child needs to be able to describe each region: la région montagne, dessert, l’arctique, les forêts tropicales, et l’équateur. They also need to be able to label the world with the following words: l’hémisphère Nord, l’hémisphère Sud, le pole Nord, le pole Sud, and ‘léquateur.

We are collecting soup this month. If you are able to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. The soup will be donated to a local food mission.

New Math Unit

We have begun our measurement unit in math. We started the unit by learning how to tell time. The students are doing a good job. They will also be learning about money in this unit. It would be helpful if the students practiced these new concepts at home.

During the month of November, the school is collecting soup to donate to a local food drive. If you are able to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.
