New Math Unit
We have recently begun a new math unit. The students are learning strategies that will help them add and subtract two-digit by one-digit numbers. They have been successful in this unit thus far. They are also learning how to create stories that tell either addition or subtraction math problems.

In Science, we have discussed the uses of water and air. The students have learned about the water cycle, and the vocabulary needed to discuss it. They have the words: La condensation, l'évaporation, and la précipitation. They have drawn the cycle in their tuo-tangs, and have compared the process to cooking. They will have a test on the uses of water and air, as well as the water cycle in the next week.

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving together as a school community, on Thursday October 8. The mass will be held at 10:30. Please feel free to join us if you are available!
