We have been very busy in grade 2! Our math unit is coming to a close. We have discussed different attributes, and how they are used to group things. We've also talked about patterns. We know that the core of the pattern must repeat 3 times. The students have had fun creating their own patterns as well. To conclude our math unit, we will be having our first math test on Wednesday, September 23.
We are also beginning our word study. The words of the week can be found in your child's agenda. The sound of the week is the a sound. Please practice these words with your child. They will be tested on their words every Monday.
