Dear Parents,
In science class, we have been talking about how things move. We have done several experiments with ramps. We have also talked about what is required to make wheels turn.
For the final project in this unit, the students are required to build cars. Their cars must roll. The students can use anything to build their cars.
In addition to building their car, they will need to write a description of their car. The description should explain what materials they used to build their car. They can also talk about the materials they chose to build their car. The description must be done in French.
This project is due: Tuesday, May 12, 2015

Happy Easter!
I hope that everyone had a nice Easter spent with family and friends! We will be continuing to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus today at Most Precious Blood parish. The service will begin at 10:30. I hope that you are able to come if you have some spare time. It would be wonderful to have you celebrate with us.
We have begun a new unit in Math. The focus of the unit will be Geometry. We have learned the names of various 2-D shapes, and attributes of each. We are now learning about symmetry, and the properties of a symmetric figure.
In Science, we have begun a unit on mechanics. We are learning and talking about how different objects move. We have also been discussing ramps, and why they are useful.
