Happy March Break!

Measuring

Today, we learned how to measure around a rectangle. We learned some new math terms too! Maybe you can measure around items in the house with your child to practice finding the perimeter.

The students worked very hard to create their very first speeches. Everyone did a good job getting in front of the class to talk about their topic. There will be an assembly in the gym on Thursday, March 12 at 1:00pm, where two students from each class will present their speech in front of the school. Congratulations to Rowan and Alissa who will be representing our class on Thursday!

Carnaval

Tomorrow we are celebrating Carnaval as a school. The day will be filled with a lot of activities. There is a chance that the afternoon portion of the day might be spent outside, if it's not too cold. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather. Also, we are asking the students to wear their Houseleague shirts, as they will be in their Houseleague groups. If they do not have a Houseleague shirt, they are encouraged to wear their Houseleague colour.
